in Children and Teen Voices • Redondo Beach Studio

Moran has been performing and teaching since 1985. She has a special gift for working with children and adolescents,
helping to bring out their own natural musicality and encouraging self-expression. Lori's positive and upbeat approach
makes learning a fun and rewarding experience for her students. Lori's unusually versatile voice has served her well in her
own performance career, which runs the gamut between musical theatre, choral, opera, oratorio, pop, jazz, cabaret, and big
band ~ all of which she brings to bear in working with her students.

Lori helps her students understand and execute the
demands of working as a singer in today's diverse musical environment, which requires performers to wear many hats,
understand various musical genres, and retain solid vocal technique to support a lifetime of healthy singing.
Ms. Moran earned a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from Florida
State University's School of Music. A certified and accredited teacher, she has taught music in public and private schools,
conducted church choirs and orchestras, and served as clinician for
the popular "Disney Sings" Workshops at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Her
students have consistently received superior ratings at district and state contests, and she is often invited as a judge for
numerous vocal competitions throughout the US. She is listed in the National
"Who's Who Among America's Teachers", is a member of Actors' Equity Association, Screen Actors' Guild, and is on
the executive board of NATS-LA (the National Association of Teachers of Singing - Los Angeles chapter).
Lori has performed with the world-renowned
Disney Voices of Liberty, appeared on numerous Disney recordings, and has been a featured soloist for the Florida Symphony
Orchestra, the Tampa Bay Oratorio, and the Orlando Opera Company. She has traveled the world performing for Crystal
Cruises, the industry leader in luxury cruising, and continues to perform as a headliner for various special events across
the country. Among her musical theater credits are the roles of Christine in Phantom of
the Opera, Adelaide
in Guys & Dolls, Laurie in Oklahoma, Fantine in Les Miserables, Fanny Bryce in Funny
Girl, Sally Bowles in
Cabaret, and Dolly Levi in Hello, Dolly. She is a regular session singer in Los Angeles, and performs featured solo and
background vocals on many pop artists' recordings. Lori's voice can be heard, along with some of Los Angeles'
finest session singers, on the motion picture sound tracks for "2012", "Percy Jackson &
The Olympians", "Iron Man II" & Disney's "The Sorcerer's Apprentice".
