Lori Moran Music, LLC - Instructors’
Policy
I. Instructors at Lori Moran Music, LLC are independent
contractors.
II. Instructors collect tuition payments directly from their own students,
and are free to set their own tuition rates.
III. LMM is more than just an online referral
service, where teachers are given a profile page on a site with hundreds of other teachers. And we differ
from the typical music store studio. Here’s what makes us different:
· Unlike online referral sites where anyone can sign up, LMM instructors are members
of a select group of highly qualified professionals.
All instructors must meet strict criteria and go through a screening process,
personal interview, and background check.
· LMM advertises for and directs students to teachers'
locations, and refers students to teachers for in-home lessons.
· LMM acts as an administrative assistant, providing personal response to prospective students on behalf
of instructors.
·
LMM provides each instructor with a voicemail
box & e-mail address so instructors can avoid publicizing their private contact information.
· LMM provides an online presence and maintains a high ranking in search engines, resulting
in more inquiries and more students.
· Unlike
music store studios and other schools, where teachers make a very small hourly rate, LMM offers teachers complete autonomy
to set their own schedule & rates, and the ability to take home the majority of their student tuition.
IV. Monthly Studio Membership Fee - $75
This fee is paid by all instructors, regardless of how many hours you spend teaching
in that particular month, and includes studio membership, phone & voicemail, e-mail, website hosting, and advertising.
(Note: New instructors
will not be charged this fee until they are up and running with at least one regularly attending student gained through our
referral system.)
